Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Bai Tu Long Bay (Lunch and dinner included)

This morning you are collected at around 8.30am for the 4 hour drive to Halong City. En route there will be a short stop at the Sao Do centre run for and by handicapped children. On arrival we board our White Dolphin Deluxe Junk, this traditional wooden sailing junk boat offers a unique way of navigating the limestone karsts of Halong Bay with all the comforts of a floating hotel. Once settled in, we will sample the region's fresh seafood whilst cruising the exquisite waters to Bai Tu Long Bay, this beautiful bay is located in the north of Ha Long bay and out of the World Heritage Site protected area. We visit Cong Do, Dau Be Island and Vong Vieng fishing village, the captain will find a secluded spot where you can swim in the clear water of the bay, soak up the sun on the top deck. In the evening the cook prepares a sumptuous meal as the boat weighs anchor in the heart of the bay. We spend the night on board White Dolphin junk.

 

Day 2: Halong Bay Exploration (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner)

After breakfast, you are transfered to a day - trip boat with private crew and another wonderful cruise to the bay's most untouched areas to visit Tortoise island , Man's head island, Dong Tien Lake, Van Gia floating villages..., if the tides are low, we have a chance to visit Ba Ham Lakes, Three Peach Island. Lunch is served on board by your chef, your cruise continues as you move around the bay finding more secluded lagoons for swimming or kayaking. Late in the afternoon we return to the White Dolphin for the night

 

Day 3   Halong Bay - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

Enjoy your morning Tai Chi in the sunrise from the junk's top deck floor before a morning cruise heading for another direction to Halong bay, en route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks, dragons to Man's head, Tortoise..., we drop anchor for a visit to the mysterious Amazing Grotto with its great views. After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board we disembark at the dock in Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi by road and transfer to hotel on arrival.
