According to Xuyen Phuc transport Co.,ltd, the company has officially shipped cars and electric cars to the island of Co To for the new launch of taxi service on the island.

The taxi service in Co To island will partially meet the travel needs of tourists and residents.
Mr Doan The Xuyen, Director of Phuc Xuyen travel service said: In summer, the number of international and domestic tourists coming to Co is expected to increase. To meet the travel needs of visitors and residents on the island, the company invested 7 seater cars and 10 types of electric cars, worth more than 4 billion to operate a taxi service in island. In the future, the company will continue to invest in facilities.

Co To island is located in Bai Tu Long bay, the furtherest island in the Gulf of Tonkin. Tourism facilities on the island is very basic. Co To island is the only locality in the country without access to national electric grid. However Co To island is no strange to tourists as it once was, especially for the young people. Tourists visiting Co To are not only impressed with the pristine beauty, the natural integrity of the archipelago but are also very impressed with the friendliness of the people. As Halong bay tours are becoming very touristy in recent years more and more people are heading to Bai Tu Long bay as a off-the-beaten-path destination. When the taxi service on the island officially come into operation the number of tourists to the island will definitely surge over the last years.
